Capital One Shopping Review
Capital One Shopping is a legitimate app and not a scam. In our research of Capital One Shopping reviews, we learned that it has 4.9 out of 5 stars in the App Store from nearly 1 million reviews and 5+ million downloads on the Google Play Store. However, the app also has a poor rating on Trustpilot, with just 200 reviews, with users stating lack of customer support led to the negative review.
Our quick-take Capital One Shopping review: A convenient way to save money while shopping online. Its automatic coupon application, price comparison features, and rewards program make it a valuable tool for consumers. However, users should be aware of potential issues related to affiliate link interference.

Jason Vitug –
I began using Capital One Shopping a year or so ago when a friend shared it has much better cash-back deals than Rakuten. I’ve learned it does offer something unique and more customized.
For instance, I was buying gifts at Coach. I visited the website and surfed around, but I wasn’t ready to make a purchase. A day later, I got an email from CapOne Shopping that I was offered a deal (45% cashback on the Coach purchase). So, I clicked on the deal and made the purchase. I saw the cash-back amount pending in my account, and it was confirmed 30 days later (after the merchandise return window had closed). The amount of my cashback was $105.
I do wish this was actually cash. Instead it’s paid back in gift cards. I have no issue with that because there are retailers I frequent where I can use the gift card.
My recommendation is to install the extension along with Rakuten. You’ll easily see what offers are available. They aren’t the same. There will be cashback offered in Capone that isn’t offered in Rakuten, and vice versa.
Again, the biggest difference is that CapOne Shopping sends an email of stores you visited that will offer you a custom deal.
This might be freaky for some who want to shop privately, but for me, the deals have been worth it.
