I tested this app back when it was called GetUpside. I was using other cashback apps, but none offered a way to earn money back from filling up the tank. When a friend shared the app with me, I had to try it out, and I’ve used it a lot ever since.
At first, I had to select the station and upload the receipt. I prefer how it works today, where I simply select the deal, and my connected credit card works with them in the background to verify the cash-back purchase.
My favorite feature is the ability to find gas stations nearby with clearly displayed prices (and cashback amounts). I have also taken advantage of their restaurant deals. Whenever I am hungry, I look at the app for local restaurants offering cashback. It’s helped me explore some new places wherever I am.
I personally recommend this app to anyone looking to get a little back from everyday purchases.

I like this app. Easy to use at gas station, just remember to claim before pumping the gas. I also used to earn cashback at Papa Johns. You have to pay using the upside app and I got 5% back. It was $0.50. Every cent saved is good. I like how easy it is to transfer money to my bank account. I transferred $3 once and $21 recently. There isn’t a minimum which is different than other cashback apps.
